School of Accountancy PhD Scholarship at Queensland Uni of Technology

The Queensland University of Technology(QUT) is inviting applications for the School of Accountancy PhD Scholarship in Australia for the 2019/2020 academic session.

The School of Accountancy is situated within the QUT Business School, located at the Garden’s Point campus in Brisbane’s central business district. QUT Business School is one of the largest and strongest business faculties in Australia with strong international links to other leading universities across the globe; it was the first Australian business school to achieve Triple Crown Accreditation (AACSB; AMBA; EQUIS). They’re specifically looking for research students interested in Business Technology and Governance.
Worth of Award
This Scholarship covers a living allowance for three years, indexed annually ($27 596 in 2019).
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship;
  • You will need to meet the entry requirements to study a PhD with them.
  • You usually need to have achieved one of the following:
  • Successfully completed a research masters degree
  • Successfully completed a masters by coursework degree or professional doctorate, with at least 25% research.
  • Graduated from an honors degree with a First Class or 2A Honours.

How to Apply
To apply for this scholarship, you’ll need to submit an expression of interest. Your expression of interest should include:
  • Resume   Your resume should outline your relevant research activities, including research-related employment, research publications, and/or other research achievements.
  • Include any documents that demonstrate proof of your research activities and abilities.
  • Two-page research proposal – You research proposal should be no more than two pages and focus on at least one of two research topics, Business, and technology or Governance.
  • The proposal should contain clear research question(s), an explanation why you find the question(s) interesting and important, and ideas about what theoretical approaches and what kind of data/methods can be used to address them.
